I got an xp pen artist 12 for my birthday (4 months ago) when i first got it, i put it into my laptop, installed all the necessary drivers, and then-it didn't work. First, it showed the usual xp pen logo, then it loaded and showed the screen. However when i placed the pen on the screen everything turned off. This still happens sometimes.

Using the XP-Pen as a primary monitor does not appeal: it is smaller and lower resolution. The drivers install from CD, but I don't see the icon for settings described in the (very terse) user guide. This is required for calibration. XP-Pen driver problem. I've been struggling with the latest drivers for the Artist 13.3 trying to make calibration and such work. The drivers from spring 2018 worked fine, but I updated my drivers in order to try and help someone troubleshoot a problem she was having with her brand new Artist 16 (the 13.3 and the 16 both share the same driver). Tablet works perfectly, no lag/stall, WITHOUT THE DRIVER INSTALLED, but useage of expresskeys and the buttons on the pen is voided, and i use those frequent so this IS an issue. Note: the driver is completely sound, i do not have a conflicting driver, the driver is fine there are no problems with the driver other than possibility the coding. I use a XP-Pen Tablet with a laptop running Windows 10 and have just recently bought and installed Clip Studio Paint Pro. I recently reinstalled the driver for the pen (as it has a habit of not working after rebooting my laptop) and Paint Tool Sai works just fine but Clip Studio Paint does not.

Xp Pen Driver Error

Driver

I have become a proud owner of a Deco 01 and plan to use it for handwritten text and diagrams in training videos. It's connected to a laptop with up-to-date Windows 10. Since I don't have a lot of USB ports, I have to connect it via a hub.
While I like the tablet very much when it works, I have encountered a few problems. Perhaps it doesn't work too well with the drawing software I use - Epic Pen, a small tool that permits scribbling anywhere on the computer's desktop.
Problem 1: When I hit the upper button on the tablet's pen, the tablet is supposed to switch between pen and eraser modes. However, it seems to be stuck in eraser mode forever. I can still draw with the mouse, but the tablet's pen can only erase, no matter how often I push that button. Restarting Epic Pen doesn't help. Unplugging the tablet from USB and re-plugging it does help, but see problem 3 below.
Problem 2: I would like to program the tablet's express keys with Epic Pen's shortcut. For example, I use ctl-alt-4 to select Epic Pen's highlighter tool. However, express keys seem to accept two keypresses at the same time, but not three.
Problem 3: After unplugging and re-plugging the tablet, it often doesn't work. The mouse cursor doesn't move when I move the pen. Unplugging two-three times seems to help, but even though the tablet is now able to move the cursor, the PenTablet configuration utility doesn't recognize that the tablet is reconnected. Even exiting and restarting the utility doesn't help. I have to plug it into a different USB port to make it work again. Given the scarcity of USB ports on my laptop, this is not a good solution.
None of these problems is a show-stopper. I can disable or reconfigure the pen button, and I can live without express keys, but still - is there a way to troubleshoot this?
