Internal Speakers Output Download For Mac

Hi,

I actually had the exact same problem a few days ago when trying to disconnect from my Jambox bluetooth speaker and go back to internal speaker. It must be a bug n the latest update of OSX. I switched off the Jambox, then shut down and restarted the Mac about three times and eventually got sound back. Install Soundflower on your Mac Go to ‘SystemPreferences Sound Output’ and select Soundflower (2ch) as your output device (it should normally stand on Built-in Internal Speakers if you aren’t using some other sound card that are connected to your studio speakers) Download the latest version of Audacity Link. This Mac previously had Windows 8.1 and was fine. Then, it was upgraded to 1703. Afterwards, the internal speakers would not work. The headphone jack works. In Device Manager, the speakers don't even show up as a device. On Windows 8.1, the speakers had their own entry. The only thing in Device Manager that shows having no driver is the.

I always start with the hardware to eliminate any issues. Boot up MACOS and test your speakers. If it doesn't work your speakers are blown, I doubt this is the case. Next step is to remove the drivers and have windows update replace them. I'd remove both Face time device instances and any other ones that maybe related, restart. If that doesn't work remove again and if you still have the old Boot Camp drivers from your original install and run that. Hopefully, that resolves it. If not the best bet is to reinstall the OS that worked prior to the update or the newest windows 10. This is a tedious task but my guess is it will work unless there is something that changed significantly. Hope this helps.
